Free Car Seat Check
To help local families feel confident and secure, we are excited to announce a FREE Car Seat Check event at Meadowbrook Shopping Centre, proudly supported by Transurban in partnership with Kidsafe QLD.
On Sunday, 17 November, our expert team will be running a Car Seat Blitz, offering 15-minute free child car restraint checks to make sure your little ones are buckled in correctly and travelling safely.
Incorrectly installed or fitted car seats are still one of the most common safety risks for children on the road. This initiative gives families the opportunity to have their restraints assessed by trained professionals — at no cost.
What to Expect
During your 15-minute appointment, our qualified child restraint technicians will check:

Correct seat installation

Harness positioning and tightness

Seat suitability for your child’s age, height, and weight

Anchor points and tethering
-
Any signs of damage or wear
You’ll leave with peace of mind knowing your child’s seat is fitted correctly — and if adjustments are needed, we’ll guide you through them.

Each booking allows time to check one seat only.
If you need two seats checked in the same vehicle, please tick “Second free car seat check” when booking to secure back-to-back appointments.
